Match Moments
29' - CHANCE (POR). After a promising attacking run by Portland midfielder Sebastián Blanco was cut down by Atlanta defender Michael Parkhurst–which he received a yellow card for–Portland's Diego Valeri curled a hard free kick on frame. Atlanta goalkeeper Alec Kann dove to his right to save.

45' - STOP (POR). Atlanta's Miguel Almirón broke in for goal, tapped it off a teammate before Diego Chara got a foot to it. The ball carromed around before Timbers goalkeeper Jake Gleeson made a nice kick save to deflect the ball away.

46' - GOAL (ATL). Atlanta stole the ball and fed to Atlanta midfielder Julian Gressel who cut across the top of the 18-yard box and scored with a low skipping shot into the lower left corner. Atlanta led 1-0.

50' - GOAL (POR). The Ridgy Roll returned as Portland drew even in the 50th minute. Portland midfielder David Guzmán served a perfect free kick from the right side as Ridgewell ghosted towards the back post and headed it in to even the score at 1-1.
