COMMERCE CITY, Colo. ā€“ The Portland Timbers ended their three-game unbeaten streak with a 2-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids Saturday evening at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

42' - CHANCE (POR) - Yimmi Chara drove forward with the ball down the middle of the pitch. He sprayed it out to Dairon Asprilla to his left who quickly lofted it back across goal to Marvin LorĆa. LorĆa chested it down and fired on goal only to be denied by Rapids goalkeeper William Yarbrough who made a good save.

47' - SAVE (POR) - Ivacic made a key save to deny a hard shot from Colorado's Jonathan Lewis in the 47th minute.

63' - RED CARD (COL) - Colorado went down to 10 men for the rest of the match when Diego Rubio earned his second yellow card and accompanying red for a foul.

69' - SAVE (POR) - Ivacic had to make a big save as the Rapids raced through on a breakaway with Lewis free on goal but the Portland 'keeper stayed big to deny the point-blank shot.
