Timbers and Mercy Corps celebrate International Day of Peace
In recognition of the International Day of Peace, the Portland Timbers and Mercy Corps have teamed up for a special Jersey-Off-Our-Back fundraiser during the Timbers’ match against the San Jose Earthquakes. Proceeds from the sale benefit Mercy Corps sport programming and the Portland Timbers Community Fund. We are commemorating the International Day of Peace in partnership with Mercy Corps with a jersey patch and opportunity for you to meet your favorite player on the field following the game.
At the Sept. 21 match, you may bid on a jersey beginning at $250. Winning bids include the rare opportunity to go onto the field to meet your favorite player and have him sign his jersey for you following the match! All jerseys will be auctioned off at the Stand Together table next to the suite elevator on the concourse up to the 60th minute of the game.
Note: To pick up your jersey, be sure to visit the STAND TOGETHER table at the JELD-WEN Field concourse by the 80th minute on Sept. 21. All 28 player jerseys are available for this auction, however, only the 18 players that are dressing for the game on September 21st will have an International Day of Peace patch on their jersey.
