ORLANDO, Fla. – Portland came from behind as Simone Charley scored a 78th minute equalizer to help Thorns FC extend their unbeaten streak to seven games with a 1-1 draw against the Orlando Pride Saturday night at Exploria Stadium.

13' - GOAL (ORL) - The Pride went up 1-0 in the 13th minute as a cross from the left side from defender Courtney Peterson connected with Jodie Taylor's glancing header to score into the net.

30' - CHANCE (POR) - Portland, pushing forward with the ball, had a chance as Marissa Everett hit a rising shot from just outside the box that pinged off the crossbar.

36' - CHANCE (POR) - Portland defender Natalia Kuikka curled in a cross that forward Simone Charley snapped a header on frame but Orlando goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris made the save before her defenders cleared it away.

49' - CHANCE (POR) - Receiving a corner kick in heavy traffic in the Orlando box, forward Sophia Smith turned and fired on target but the shot was saved by Harris.

59' - CHANCE (POR) - Thorns midfielder Angela Salem charged into the box before playing a pass that bounced off an Orlando defender to fall for Smith. Smith turned and shot but again it was saved.

70' - SAVE (POR) - Thorns goalkeeper Bella Bixby tipped a headed shot from Taylor up and over the bar.

78' - GOAL (POR) - Portland earned their equalizer in the 78th minute as a beautifully lofted free kick ball from defender Meghan Klingenberg connected with Charley who looped her header inside the far post to tie the score at 1-1.

The Thorns return to Portland Wednesday to play host to the Women's International Champions Cup with the Houston Dash, FC Barcelona Feminí and Olympique Lyonnais all coming to the Rose City for a special tournament.
