PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers and Pendleton Woolen Mills today announced a multiyear partnership, bringing together two Oregon originals. As an Official Partner of the Portland Timbers, Pendleton will pair its textile and design expertise with the club’s iconic branding to create distinctive experiences and products for supporters throughout the partnership.
“This partnership brings together two organizations that are unmistakably Oregon and share a deep pride in our home and its traditions,” said Heather Davis, CEO of the Portland Timbers. “By combining Pendleton’s craftsmanship with the Timbers’ legacy, we have the opportunity to celebrate what makes our state unique and create something fans can enjoy for years to come.”
Over the duration of the partnership, Pendleton will collaborate with the club to explore a range of fan-focused initiatives, including a special edition retail collection, signature blanket series, and a Pendleton-styled suite and event space at Providence Park. Rooted in shared values of tradition, community and belonging, the distinctly Oregon partnership will give supporters new ways to express their pride.
“Pendleton has been woven into the story of Oregon for over 160 years, and we’re proud to build on that legacy by partnering with the Portland Timbers, a club that represents this community on a global stage,” said Jennifer Ingraffea, CEO of Pendleton. “There is something special about uniting two organizations with a deep sense of place, strong ties to the community and a shared belief in the power of bringing people together.”
In the seasons to come, Pendleton will collaborate with the Timbers on exclusive product collections.
