CVI returns to Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., from Feb. 6-13
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers will participate in the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI), it was announced today.Â
Ahead of the 2027 season, the Timbers will travel to Indio, Calif., for a series of exhibition matches at the Empire Polo Club alongside 11 other MLS teams from Feb. 6-13. As part of the club’s 2027 preseason, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky, the Timbers will participate in the Coachella Valley Invitational for a fifth consecutive year.
The match schedule will be announced at a later date. Passes for all dates will go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 1, at 10am PT at www.coachellavalleyinvitational.com.
