PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers U-23s open their seventh Premier Development League (PDL) season on Thursday, May 14, with the first of two Providence Health & Fitness Days at Providence Park. The 2015 season marks the sixth year of the Providence Health & Fitness Days program, promoting healthy living to youth in the community through soccer.

The two Providence Health & Fitness Day matches will feature matchups against Lane United FC on Thursday, May 14, and Kitsap Pumas on Friday, May 29. Featuring a host of activities, including a pregame assembly, the daytime matches kick off at 11 a.m. (Pacific).

Tickets for the Providence Health & Fitness Days at Providence Park are $10 and will be available for purchase at a later date online at www.timbers.com or through the stadium box office. Discounted tickets are available for groups of 15 or more; contact the Timbers ticket office at (503) 553-5555 or ticketsales@timbers.com for additional information.

The Timbers U-23s play a 12-game, regular-season schedule against Northwest Division opponents in 2015. With the addition of Calgary Foothills FC to the Northwest Division this year, the Timbers U-23s will face each of the six division opponents twice during the regular season, once at home and once away.

The Timbers U-23s will split their 2015 home schedule between Providence Park and other venues throughout the greater-Portland area. Locations for the remainder of the home schedule will be announced at a later date.

Portland concludes its regular-season schedule with a road game on Wednesday, July 8, against Kitsap Pumas.
