3History Books - Sinclair scored three goals in an 11-minute span to notch the first hat trick in club history. The Canadian international has two hat tricks in her Thorns career, which is more than all other Portland players ever, combined.

9Scoreboard - At the time of the match, the nine combined goals were the most ever scored in an NWSL match. That mark has has been tied only twice, in two separate matches between Sky Blue FC and Seattle Reign FC in 2017.

4Streaking - Portland defender Steph Catley delivered the cross on forward Alex Morgan's goal in the 52nd minute. It was the third straight match that Catley had an assist. The Australian international added an assist in the club's next match and her four consecutive matches with an assist is still a club record.

13Surprise! Boston took the lead on three different occasions yet Thorns FC still rallied for a three-goal victory. Boston held the lead for a total of 13 minutes despite having the lead three times.

25Looking Ahead - Portland's six-goal explosion was part of a 2014 season that saw the Thorns score 25 goals at home in 12 matches. The 25 goals set a club record for most goals in a single home campaign, a number which was matched in 2017.
