Portland grabbed their first win against D.C. United last Saturday, and are looking to continue their solid play with a victory over the LA Galaxy on Sunday morning (11:30 am PT, NBCSN, Free stream on NBCSports.com). The Galaxy currently sit sixth in the Western Conference table, with eight points after six games. LA has typically had their hands full when visiting the Timbers, and Portland will pressure Sunday in search of their next win. Here's what you need to know for #PORvLA.

0 There has never been a tie between these two teams at Providence Park. LA have struggled when the journey up north, and the Timbers lead the series in Portland, 3-1-0. The boys in green and white are also ahead of the Galaxy in goals scored at home by a margin of nine to six.

1,9,27 Los Angeles last picked up points in Portland on July 14, 2012--one year, nine months and 27 days come this Saturday. Last season, the TImbers beat LA twice at Providence Park. First, on a goal in the 94th minute in a 2-1 victory on July 13 and then later on Sept. 29, Maximiliano Urruti put home the lone goal in a 1-0 win.

The real estate company put out a list of the top cinema cities in the U.S., considering factors like theatres per capita, video stores, film festivals and more. Los Angeles? Not even in the top ten, despite all their Hollywood stars.

15 Timbers attacking midfielder Diego Valeri does it all. He is tied for eighth in the league in shots on goal in 2014, and is now Portland's all-time MLS leader in assists at 15. Valeri has two assists on the season, tied with fellow offensive guru Darlington Nagbe for most on the teams.

Two With his goal :34 seconds into the Timbers' 3-2 win over D.C. United on May 3, Portland forward Gastón Fernández scored in back-to-back games for the second time this season. Fernández scored a goal against Houston on April 27, as well as goals against Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire earlier in the season.
