Quick Strikes | Timbers aim to continue their strong play away at RSL

Timbers celebrate, Timbers vs. SJ, 10.11.20

Riding a five-game win streak, the Portland Timbers will look to continue their impressive form when they take on Real Salt Lake on Wednesday at Rio Tinto Stadium (6:30pm PT, ROOT SPORTS). Here are five numbers to know for #RSLvPOR in the latest Quick Strikes.

7 Forward Felipe Mora has scored seven goals with all of them coming since Portland's return from the MLS is Back Tournament. Those seven goals are tied for the most in MLS since the mid-August restart.

6 No player in MLS has more assists in the last month than Diego Chara who has six assists in Portland's last six matches. The six assists match Chara's combined assists output from the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons.

2 With his brace in Portland's last match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda became the fourth different Timbers player with a multi-goal match in 2020. It is just the second time Portland has had four different players with braces in one season, along with 2014.

5 The Timbers have a record of 5-5-2 when playing at Real Salt Lake in MLS play. Those five wins at Rio Tinto Stadium are the most by Portland at any away venue since the club joined MLS in 2011.

20 Including its four knockout round matches in the MLS is Back Tournament, Portland has now played 20 games in all competitions in 2020. The Timbers have a record of 12-4-4 with a +13 goal differential in those 20 matches.
