Week 19 of the 2018 MLS regular season featured plenty of game action, with the Portland Timbers extending their unbeaten streak across all competitions to 13 following a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Forward Samuel Armenteros recorded a brace in the game – giving him six goals across his last eight games – while midfielder Diego Valeri was credited with two assist – marking five in his last two matches. The performances earned both players a spot on the MLS Team of the Week, presented by Audi with Armenteros getting the Audi Player Index Spotlight.

Armenteros picked up Audi Player Index Performance of the Week, amassing 1,546 points, best in MLS.
Armenteros scored on a 40 percent strike rate, notched two key passes and completed 85 percent of his passes in the attacking half of the field.
