#StatMan Three | Brian Fernandez sets record with sixth goal in his first five MLS matches

Led by a record-setting goal, the Portland Timbers defeated FC Dallas, 1-0, Sunday night at Providence Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from #PORvDAL. 


5Brian Fernandez became the first player in league history to score in each of his first five matches to start his MLS career. Across all competitions, Fernandez has scored in all seven of his matches as a Timbers player. 


7 With the delivery on Fernandez's goal, Sebastián Blanco is up to seven assists on the season. The Timbers are the only team in MLS to have multiple players with seven or more assists in 2019, with Blanco joining Diego Valeri, who has 10. 


305 The Timbers have not conceded a goal in all competitions at Providence Park in the last 305 minutes of play. In their last three home matches, Portland has outscored its opponents by a 9-0 margin.
