#StatMan Three | Diego Valeri becomes ninth member of MLS's 70-70 club

The Timbers won their third straight match, defeating Real Salt Lake, 2-1, Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from #RSLvPOR.

70 Already the leading goalscorer in Portland history, Diego Valeri notched the 70th goal of his Timbers career. Valeri is just the ninth player in MLS history with 70 goals and 70 assists.

3 For just the third time in Portland's MLS history, a Timbers goalkeeper saved a penalty kick. With his denial of Albert Rusnak in the 26th minute, Steve Clark joins Andrew Weber and Jeff Attinella as Portland goalkeepers with a PK save in MLS play.

20/20 With his goal, Sebastián Blanco became the sixth player in Timbers history to have 20 or more goals and 20 or more assists for Portland. Blanco joins two players from the MLS era (Valeri and Darlington Nagbe) and three from the club's NASL era (John Bain, Clyde Best and Dale Mitchell).
