The Portland Timbers lost 3-2 Wednesday night at TCF Bank Stadium to Minnesota United FC. Here are three #StatMan takeaways for #MINvPOR. 

46 Midfielder Diego Valeri scored his ninth goal of the season when he converted a penalty kick in the first half. The goal was Valeri's 46th regular season goal for Portland, moving him out of a tie with John Bain for second-most goals scored in Timbers history. 

2 The match was the second time the Timbers have played in an MLS match where both teams received an own goal. 

17 No team in the Western Conference has a higher scoring duo in 2017 than the Timbers. Valeri (nine) and Fanendo Adi (eight) have combined for 17 goals this season.
