#StatMan Three | Portland Timbers 0, Sporting Kansas City 0 | Sept. 9, 2015

In a warm September evening Wednesday night match at Providence Park, the Portland Timbers played to a scoreless draw with Sporting Kansas City. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

12 Portland shut out an opponent for the 12th time this season with goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey leading MLS in clean sheets. Kwarasey moves into a third place tie with USL-era goalkeeper Steve Cronin for most shutouts in a single season by a Timbers goalkeeper, two behind the club record of 14.

6Making his fifth start of the season, Norberto Paparatto broke up numerous SKC attacks throughout the match. The Argentine defender led the Timbers with six interceptions for the game while also contributing three tackles, two of which occurred at the top of the box.

3 Forward Fanendo Adi led the Timbers with three shots on target against Sporting. Adi's three shots were part of seven saves the Timbers forced from KC 'keeper Tim Melia.
