#StatMan Three | Sebastián Blanco becomes 10th Timbers goalscorer

Blanco nets goal, FCD vs. Timbers, 4.29.17

The Portland Timbers became the first MLS team to score multiple goals against FC Dallas this season with a hard-fought, 2-2 draw at Toyota Stadium Saturday night. Here are three key #StatMan takeaways from the match.

6 Forward Fanendo Adi gave the Timbers the lead in the first half when he headed a free kick home. The goal is the Nigerian's sixth of the season, which ties him for second-most goals in MLS this season.

10 Midway through the second half, Sebastián Blanco scored the first goal of his Portland career. Ten different Timbers players have now scored in 2017, three more than any other MLS club.

3X3 With his free kick delivery to Adi, midfielder David Guzmán notched his third assist of the season. The Costa Rican International joins teammates Diego Valeri and Darlington Nagbe as players with three or more assists so far this season.
