22 With his early goal, Valeri has now scored against 22 different MLS clubs in his Timbers career. Valeri also became the second Timbers player in MLS to score in each of the club's first two matches of a season.
4 Playing Nashville for the first time, the win gives Portland a record of 4-1-1 when playing a first-year MLS team at home. Nashville is the second club from Tennessee to ever play against the Timbers, joining the Memphis Rogues (NASL).
9 Goalkeeper Steve Clark delivered four saves en route to his ninth career shutout as a Timbers goalkeeper. Clark is now tied with Jake Gleeson for 10th-most shutouts in the club's all-era record book.
