PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 and midfielder/defender Steven Evans have mutually parted ways, it was announced today. Per league and club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Evans, who originally signed as a Homegrown Player with the Portland Timbers on Jan. 8, 2013, appeared in 11 games (4 starts) for T2 this season, recording a game-winning goal against Sacramento Republic FC on April 2.
Born in Portland, Ore., Evans was a standout player for the University of Portland while spending four seasons with the Timbers U-23s, scoring eight goals in 37 appearances with the PDL club.
