Thorns know their opponent: Chicago

After winning the NWSL Shield, Portland Thorns FC had the weekend off last weekend given their first round bye into the NWSL Playoffs. They now know their opponent in the semifinals: the Chicago Red Stars.

Chicago defeated NJ/NY Gotham FC 1-0 in the quarterfinals on Sunday. Portland will host the Red Stars this Sunday, Nov. 14 at Providence Park (2:30pm PT, CBS Sports Network).

Timbers know their opponent, too: Minnesota

The Portland Timbers also know their opponent for the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs: Minnesota United FC. After winning their last three games in a row to close out the regular season, Portland locked up the fourth seed in the Western Conference and home field advantage for the Round One match against the Loons – date, time and ticket information TBD.
