The Crosscut Collection, begun in 2015 as a collaboration and partnership between the Portland Timbers and the Timbers Army’s 107 Independent Supporters Trust (107ist), was set up to produce special edition merchandise – designed by fans – with the proceeds benefiting the club’s community outreach platform Stand Together and the grass roots soccer efforts of the 107ist.
Today, that relationship grows.
For the first time, Crosscut is working with the Rose City Riveters on a set of items that commemorates Thorns FC midfielder Lindsey Horan and her 2018 NWSL MVP season: a specially-designed t-shirt ($30) as well as a patch that features Horan’s signature intertwined with thorns-themed MVP text ($5).
Both will be available Sunday, March 24th at the PTFC team store on West Burnside, at the preseason Spring Invitational, presented by Tillamook at Merlo Field, and online at ShopThornsFC.com.
