Alex Morgan, USWNT vs. Iceland

Group play finished up on Monday at the Algarve and Cyprus Cup as placement matches were decided on the final day. Canada and Australia each picked up wins, while England and the United States earned draws.

The Cyprus Cup final will feature the second Thorns-vs.-Thorns matchup in these tournaments. Christine Sinclair, Rhian Wilkinson, Kaylyn Kyle and Canada will meet Jodie Taylor and England in the championship match on Wednesday.

Canada earned a 1-0 victory over Italy on Monday as both Sinclair and Wilkinson were in the starting lineup.  Wednesday will mark Canada’s seventh appearance in the Cyprus Cup final as they shoot for a fourth tournament title.

Meanwhile, England played to a 1-1 draw against the Netherlands as Taylor saw action in the match as a second-half sub. The Lionesses will be making their third consecutive appearance in the Cyprus Cup final and last won the tournament in 2013. Learn more about forward Taylor in this great video feature:
