Thorns FC's Christine Sinclair named finalist for Ballon d'Or

Thorns FC forward Christine Sinclair, the all-time leading goalscorer in international competition, was named Friday as one of 25 finalists for France Football's Ballon D'Or.

Sinclair, who has scored 187 goals in 304 international matches for Canada, helped lead her national team to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics gold medal in soccer this past summer.
