Portland Thorns FC players Midge Purce and Katherine Reynolds were both named to the NWSL Team of the Month for June as voted by the NWSL Media Association.
The duo helped Portland go undefeated for the month (2-0-2) with both players starting all four matches. Purce scored four goals in the month – including a brace in the team's 3-0 home-opener win over the Chicago Red Stars – while Reynolds achieved the 10,000 minutes played mark for her NWSL career in the team's 2-1 victory over the Houston Dash.
