PORTLAND, Ore.
- Portland Timbers forward Dan Antoniuk was named to the USL First Division’s Team of the Week, it was announced Tuesday.
Antoniuk garnered the honor after scoring both goals in the Timbers’ 2-1 win over Puerto Rico on Thursday.
A third-year Timber, Antoniuk paces the club with five goals thus far and ranks seventh in the USL First Division with 11 points.
On tap for the Timbers is a match against the defending champion-Montreal Impact at PGE Park on Thursday, June 30, at 7 p.m.
