Jeremy Ebobisse #2, Timbers training, 1.29.17

USLSoccer.com, in conjunction with the staff at TopDrawerSoccer.com, kicks off the second annual 20 Under 20 list to highlight the best up-and-coming players competing in the USL today.

Coming in at No. 20 is Timbers forward Jeremy Ebobisse. The No. 4 overall selection in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Ebobisse represented the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea. In three appearances off the bench for the U.S., Ebobisse logged 149 minutes and recorded two goals. In the United States' 6-0 victory over New Zealand in the Round of 16, Ebobisse scored one of the goals of the tournament when he controlled a high ball with a deft first touch and blasted a left-footed shot past the keeper in the 64th minute (WATCH).

Ebobisse scored his second goal of the tournament in the Yanks' 2-1 extra-time loss to eventual runners-up Venezuela in the Quarterfinals. Down 2-0 in the 117th minute, Ebobisse's looping header from a set-piece play was redirected into the far post and crossed the goal line (WATCH).

The Bethesda, Md., native made his MLS debut on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium on May 6. Ebobisse has made two appearances for the Timbers in 2017, and started the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against the Seattle Sounders on June 13 at Starfire Stadium. In four appearances (4 starts) with T2 this season, Ebobisse has tallied a goal and an assist in 320 minutes.
