The Portland Timbers drew Los Angeles FC 0-0 Sunday at the Banc of California Stadium which extended their unbeaten streak in MLS play to 12 games – 14 across all competitions. Portland also held LAFC scoreless in their home stadium marking the first time the feat had been accomplished in Los Angeles' young history.

Helping lead the full performance was midfielder Diego Chara who earned himself a spot on the MLS Team of the Week (Wk 20), presented by Audi. Chara was second on the team with 72 touches, led the team with a 91.5 percent pass completion rate (minimum 50 passes), won three fouls, made four tackles, and had one chance creation.

It was the kind of game that had MLSsoccer.com's Charlie Davies comparing Chara to recent World Cup champion N'Golo Kante
