Timbers place 2008 season tickets on sale

PORTLAND, Ore. –
The Portland Timbers unveiled today the team’s ticketing options for the 2008 USL First Division season at PGE Park. Featured among the Timbers different 2008 ticket plans is a new Premier seat option under the Flex Plan. Also, the first 100 fans who purchase or renew full-season tickets by Jan. 7, will receive a piece of franchise history – an autographed wood slab from Timber Jim’s pole at PGE Park.
After seven seasons, Timbers Jim’s famous wooden pole behind the fence at PGE Park was taken down and cut into slabs. Between now and Dec. 1, the first 100 fans who purchase their Timbers 2008 full-season tickets will receive a historic slab autographed by 2007 Timbers players.

Timbers 2008 season tickets, starting as low as $142.50 for 15 regular-season home games, are now available by contacting the Timbers ticket office at (503) 553-5555. There are a variety of ticket plans and packages also available, including the new Premier seat option under the 15-voucher Flex Plan.
Timbers season-ticket and ticket-package holders receive exclusive discounts on tickets (up to $6 per ticket) and a variety of special bonuses, including VIP event notification, opportunities to purchase PGE Park event tickets before they go on sale to the general public, seat protection for exhibition, U.S. Open Cup and playoff matches, and discounts on Timbers merchandise.
All Timbers season-ticket and ticket-package holders can take advantage of the PGE Park ticket exchange program. Any unused tickets from packages or full-season tickets can be exchanged for comparable tickets to any 2008 Timbers regular-season, home match based upon availability.
Additionally, the Timbers have announced group ticket prices for 2008, starting as low as $9.50 per ticket. The group ticket discount applies to groups of 15 or more people.
