PORTLAND, Ore.
– The Portland Timbers today signed midfielder Mike Chabala and forward Yuri Morales.

Chabala spent his college career at the University of Washington, where he was a co-captain in his senior season.
Morales, 24, joins the Timbers after a recent trial with DC United of MLS. Before that, Morales spent two years in Denmark, where he played with Olstykke FC and Viborg FF.
