The Portland Timbers travel to Tennessee for the first time as they take on Nashville SC Sunday at GEODIS Park (5:30pm PT, FOX 12 PLUS). Get set for the match with some key numbers to know as the Timbers look to continue their strong run of form.

The Timbers are unbeaten in three straight games (2-0-1), earning seven points since MLS resumed play following the June international window. Notably, Portland’s wins against Colorado and Houston marked the first time this season they have recorded back-to-back wins.

Portland and Nashville have only faced off once before, a 1-0 win for the Timbers at Providence Park on March 8, 2020. Nashville will be the 26th different opponent the Timbers have faced on the road since their 2011 inaugural season in MLS.

The Timbers have scored 27 goals this season, which is tied for the third-most in the Western Conference and tied for sixth-most overall in the league.

With Santiago Moreno’s brace on June 29, he became the fourth different Portland player to register a brace this season (Moreno, Jaroslaw Niezgoda, Nathan Fogaça, Sebastián Blanco). The Timbers and Austin FC are the only teams with braces from four different players in the 2022 campaign.

Sebastián Blanco has registered a goal contribution in three straight matches (1G, 2A) and leads the team with six assists. Blanco has tallied six or more assists in all five seasons he’s played for Portland (2017-2022), excluding 2020.
