Timbers Tekkers | Portland one of only two MLS teams to have four players with two or more goals each

Portland is unbeaten against Houston in six straight matches (4-0-2), dating back to May 15, 2019. The Timbers earned their first road win against Dynamo FC in their last match at PNC Stadium on September 3, 2021.


The Timbers are one of two teams in MLS to have four players with two or more goals each this season (Dairon Asprilla, Yimmi Chara, Jaroslaw Niezgoda, Bill Tuiloma). Portland is also one of four teams in MLS to score in each of its matches this season along with LAFC, Philadelphia and Toronto.


Claudio Bravo leads the league in tackles won this season with 19. The 25-year-old Argentine ranks 1st overall in tackles won (74) in MLS since making his Timbers debut at the start of the 2021 season. 


Yimmi Chara is currently the only player in the league to have three goals and three assists in the 2022 campaign. Notably, Y. Chara ranks fourth in the league for key passes made with 15. 


On April 3, Diego Chara tied Kyle Beckerman’s record for most fouls committed (756) in league history. Notably, D. Chara did so in 182 less matches played than Beckerman. D. Chara did not commit a single foul on April 9 for the 32nd time in his career.
