PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers and Thorns FC today announced a new partnership with StatsBomb, which will serve as the club’s analytic insight platform.
The partnership with StatsBomb allows the club to take an innovative approach to data analytics. The platform will provide the Timbers and Thorns FC with the tools to remain competitive in key areas such as team and opposition analysis, scouting and recruitment, and player acquisition.

For the Timbers and Thorns FC, the partnership with StatsBomb is the first of its kind for the club. A leader in the space, StatsBomb covers over 80 football leagues around the world, capturing approximately 3,400 events per match.
