T2 goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 25 after helping Portland to a 1-0 shutout victory over Saint Louis FC at Providence Park on Sept. 1.
McIntosh made six saves in the win, logging his fifth shutout of the 2018 season. Additionally, the shutout was the club’s 10th of this campaign, which ranks tied for fifth in the USL. McIntosh has made 16 starts in 2018, logging 58 saves. With his selection, McIntosh is the ninth different T2 player to earn a spot on the USL Team of the Week this season.
With six games remaining in the USL regular season, T2 close out a five-match home stand when they play host to Tulsa Roughnecks FC at Providence Park on Sunday, Sept. 9. Beginning at 2 p.m. (Pacific), the match against Roughnecks FC will be streamed live on ESPN+.
