T2 midfielder Marvin LorĂa was named to the USL team of the Week for Week 18 after tallying a goal and an assist in Portland’s 2-1 victory over Swope Park Rangers at Merlo Field on July 14.
LorĂa scored the game-winning goal, his third of the season, in first-half stoppage time, while he earned an assist on Foster Langsdorf’s team-leading eighth goal in the 23rd minute of the match. LorĂa finished the game with four chances created and leads the team with 30 chances created in 2018.
Next up, T2 close out a three-match homestand when they play host to Las Vegas Lights FC at Providence Park on Sunday, July 22. Beginning at 2 p.m. (Pacific), the match against Las Vegas will be streamed live on ESPN+.
