A highly experienced, yet still young goalkeeper, Norway-born Adam Larsen Kwarasey joined the Timbers on Dec. 8, 2014. The Ghana National Team goalkeeper saw action during the 2014 FIFA World Cup and spent eight seasons playing in Norway’s Tippeligaen.

2016: Played 50 minutes and recorded three saves during the team’s 3-1 win over the Earthquakes on April 16 before suffering an injury ... Started and played the full 90 minutes in all six games to begin the season ... Tallied 17 saves in 31 shots faced.
