Career Summary

Devon Fisher joins T2 following three seasons at Virginia Commonwealth University and two campaigns with the Timbers U-23s Premier Development League (PDL) side.

Fisher, 21, tallied 12 goals and five assists in 62 career appearances for VCU, starting all 20 games during his redshirt junior season in 2014. The Dublin, Ga., native helped the Rams reach the NCAA Tournament in two of his three seasons (2012, 2013), while also earning Atlantic-10 Second Team honors in 2013. With the Timbers U-23s, Fisher tallied one goal in 21 regular-season appearances across the 2014 and 2015 PDL seasons. Helping the Timbers U-23s reach the postseason in 2015, Fisher netted the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw against Kitsap Pumas on July 8 at Gordon Field in Bremerton, Wash. In other competitions, Fisher started and played 90 minutes for the Timbers U-23s in a 3-2 loss against USL side Arizona United SC in the second round of the 2014 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament on May 13, 2014, at Providence Park.

During his college career, Fisher started 60 of his 62 appearances for VCU and earned Atlantic-10 Player of the Week honors in 2014 after helping the Rams earn a come-from-behind, 1-1 draw against nationally ranked Georgetown on Sept. 11, 2014.
