Kristoffer Velde

ACQUIRED: Signed from Greek Super Ligue 1 side Olympiacos Piraeus as a Designated Player on August 13, 2025. Velde is under contract through the 2028 season with a club option in 2029.

CAREER: Joins Portland after spending the 2024-25 season with Greek Super Ligue 1 side Olympiacos. Registering six goals and two assists in 34 matches across all competitions. Prior to joining Olympiacos, Velde spent three seasons with Polish top-flight side Lech Poznan (2022-2024), recording 29 goals and 13 assists in 98 appearances across all competitions and began his career with local club Haugesund where he amassed 27 goals and 24 assists in 119 appearances. Notably, Velde has featured in UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League qualifying and group stage matches, making 31 appearances across six seasons of European competitions and registering 12 goals and five assists.

INTERNATIONAL: Velde made his senior Norway national team debut on June 20, 2023, coming off the bench in his country’s 3-1 win over Cyprus in European Qualifiers.
