Beavers, Timbers seeking national anthem singers

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers and Portland Timbers will be holding national anthem auditions for the 2004 season at PGE Park on Wednesday, April 7 and Monday, April 12, it was announced today.

Both sessions will be from 1-6 p.m.

The Beavers and Timbers are searching for quality musicians to sing or play the national anthem for any of the teams’ 86 home games during the 2004 season. Interested candidates will be asked to sing or play the entire national anthem in front of a panel of judges. Duets, quartets, and choirs, and those able to sing or perform the Canadian national anthem are strongly encouraged to apply.
