PORTLAND, Ore.
- The Portland Timbers paid a visit to children staying at Shriners Hospital on Thursday in Southwest Portland.
Shriners is a 40-bed pediatric orthopaedic hospital providing comprehensive care to children at no charge.
Players including Byron Alvarez, Dan Antoniuk, Memo Arzate, Bayard Elfvin, Aaron Heinzen, Edwin Miranda, Jake Sagare, Jarrod Weis and Brian Winters signed autographs, met with Timbers fans and handed out special gifts from the team to children in the hospital.
