PORTLAND, Ore.
— Friday night’s Portland Timbers match at defending champion-Charleston will be broadcast internationally on Fox Sports World at 5 p.m. (Pacific) as the A-League Game of the Week.
Reigning A-League Player of the Week Alan Gordon and the Timbers (5-0-0, 15pts) travel to Charleston to take on the Battery (2-3-3, 9pts) in the first of two games of an East Coast road trip.
The Timbers will be holding a viewing party at McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at 107 N.W. Couch, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. In-house discounts will be offered to Timbers fans throughout the match and Timbers mascot Timber Jim will be raffling off Timbers gear at halftime.
