PORTLAND, Ore.
- The Portland Timbers tonight announced that tickets for their upcoming home playoff match go on sale Sunday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m.
The Timbers, who advanced to the USL First Division playoffs with a 3-0 victory over Richmond at PGE Park Saturday night, will host the first game of a two-leg, aggregate-score playoff series on Friday, Sept. 16, at PGE Park against the Seattle Sounders.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
Advance tickets are available for purchase at area Ticketmaster outlets. Individual tickets may be purchased by phone at (503) 224-4400 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Tickets for the first-round playoff match begin at $12.
Groups of 15 or more are encouraged to call the Timbers ticket office at (503) 553-5555 for special discounted tickets. Exclusive Party Suites and picnic packages are also available by calling the Timbers ticket office.
Undated regular-season vouchers and all special-offer coupons are not redeemable and are void for all Timbers playoff games.
The Timbers and Sounders will complete their first-round playoff matchup at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, Wash., on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. The winner advances to play the top-seeded and defending-champion Montreal Impact in the semifinal round.
