As a young child, Timbers midfielder Ricardo "Kiki" Lara inherited his parents passion for Mexican Primera Division club Chivas Guadalajara. One of Chivas' top competitors each season is Club Necaxa - the 2007 Interliga champions.
As a Chivas fan, Lara now has the opportunity to face a team he grew up rooting against when the Timbers face Necaxa Wednesday, May 9 at PGE Park presented by Tecate.
