Fans name Jordan May's "Man of the Month"

Bryan Jordan
was selected by fans as the Timbers' “Man of the Month” for May, recording two goals, an assist and was selected to the USL First Division Team of the Week twice in the first full month of the season. He is the first fan-voted “Man of the Month” recipient in 2007.
Among the players who made a significant impact on the pitch for the Timbers during the month of May, Jordan, 21, was selected by fans in a poll on the Timbers’ website

A rookie from Oregon State University, Jordan has worked his way into a starting role since the beginning of the season. In his last three USL First Division matches, all starts, Jordan has scored two goals, recorded one assist and is currently second on the team in goals and points (5). Jordan has appeared in each of the Timbers' six matches this season.
Jordan scored his first professional goal May 9 in an international exhibition match against Mexican side Club Necaxa Elite at PGE Park. His strike in the 46
th
minute gave the Timbers a 1-0 win in their first international exhibition match of the season.
Jordan and the Timbers leave for a two-game road trip Thursday to play the Montreal Impact on June 8 and the Rochester Raging Rhinos on June 9. The match in Montreal on June 8 will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel; kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. (Pacific). Both matches can be heard live on
