The Portland Timbers and Oregon Adult Soccer Association (OASA) have teamed up to host three special soccer clinics, including two exclusively for women, at PGE Park led by international soccer stars
Tiffeny Milbrett
and
Christine Sinclair
.
The clinic series with Milbrett and Sinclair begins Sunday, Oct. 5 from 2-4 p.m. with the first of two exclusive clinics for women, the other is set for Sunday, Oct. 12 from 2-4 p.m. The third and final clinic is open to both men and women on Saturday, Nov. 1 at PGE Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Featuring top-notch instruction from two of the world’s top players and University of Portland alumni, each of the three clinics is open to players age 18 and older and is designed to sharpen individual and team skills. Each clinic costs just $35. For more information or to sign up, visit

Tiffeny Milbrett
– A Portland, Ore., native, Milbrett has 200 caps with the U.S. Women’s National Team. As a member of the National Team, she has accomplished many feats, including winning a goal medal in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the Women’s World Cup championship in 1999 and a silver medal in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. Milbrett ranks among the United State’s all-time leaders in several offensive categories and scored her 100th international goal against Ukraine at Merlo Field in Portland. She had a prolific collegiate career at the University of Portland where she was a three-time All-American.
Christine Sinclair
– A former standout at the University of Portland, Sinclair is a current member of the Canadian Women’s National Team and competed for Canada in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Already in her international career, Sinclair has guided Canada to a second-place finish in the 2002 Gold Cup, a fourth-place finish in the 2003 World Cup and was the Golden Boot and Golden Ball winner in the 2002 FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship. In college, Sinclair was a four-time All-American, three-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year and led UP to national championships in 2002 and as a senior in 2005.
