Timbers team up with 95.5 The Game, KXL in 2010

PORTLAND, Ore. –
The Portland Timbers announced today that they will partner with Sportsradio 95.5 The Game and News Radio 750 KXL to broadcast all 30 of the team’s regular-season matches and potential playoff games live during the upcoming season.




Forming a multi-year partnership with the Timbers in 2009, 95.5 The Game will air 26 of the club’s regular-season contests in 2010. The final four matches of the regular season will be broadcast live on sister station 750 KXL. In case of schedule conflicts, games will air live on 750 KXL or Freedom 970 as programming allows.

The Timbers open the 2010 campaign April 17 as they play host to the Rochester Rhinos at PGE Park. The regular season ends Oct. 2 on the road against Northwest-rival Vancouver.

Those who purchase a 2010 season-ticket package or make a $50 per-seat deposit towards 2011 MLS season tickets gain priority status for season tickets for the Timbers inaugural MLS season in 2011.
