Portland Soccer Roundup: USA Today Reports On Northwest Soccer Rivalries

A round up of stories that include clips from the MLS Commissioner’s visit to Portland, the Timbers’ rivalries thrust into the national limelight, and a former University of Portland star captaining his club’s revival overseas.

USA Today shines the national spotlight onto the Portland-Seattle-Vancouver rivalry that will be renewed in 2011. MLS Commissioner Don Garber was in town last week as the Timbers broke ground on the renovation of PGE Park.
