Timbers Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale March 21

PORTLAND, Ore.— The Portland Timbers announced today that single-game tickets for their inaugural Major League Soccer season will go on sale Monday, March 21. Additionally, the club has released a series of five-game ticket plans featuring premium matches throughout the 2011 campaign.

The Timbers today also announced that the team’s half-season ticket packages are sold out.

Single-game tickets for each regular-season home match, starting at $8, will be available for purchase on March 21 exclusively at the PGE Park box office from 7-10 p.m. Starting Tuesday, March 22, at 10 a.m., single-game tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster and fans will be able to purchase tickets through the stadium box office, local Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.tickemaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets during an exclusive pre-sale window from Tuesday, March 15, at 10 a.m. through Sunday, March 20, at 5 p.m.

The Timbers make their MLS home debut Thursday, April 14, as they play host to the Chicago Fire. The club will play 17 regular-season home matches, as well as a series of international exhibitions, at a newly renovated PGE Park in 2011.

The Timbers are now offering a variety of five-game ticket packages starting at $22 per seat in the Goal Box, Sideline Terrace and Timbers Army sections. The five-game packs are available now by calling the ticket office at (503) 553-5555.

The four different packages include a variety of exciting games throughout the season. Highlighting Plan C are tickets to both the home opener and finale, while Plan D includes all weekend matches (4 Saturday and 1 Friday match). Plan E includes the opportunity to see Northwest-rival Seattle Sounders FC and Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls. Tickets to see Landon Donovan and the LA Galaxy as well as three international exhibition matches are included in Plan F.
