POLL: Vote for the Best Timbers Match of 2012

There were 34 matches in all from March to October in the 2012 MLS Timbers season.

We picked out a handful that remain memorable. Which match do you think was the best of the bunch? Have your say in the poll and we'll announce the winner on Monday, Nov. 5.

March 12, 2012 vs. Philadelphia Union
The 2012 season got off to a rainy and loud start at JELD-WEN Field. Down 1-0 to Philadelphia, the Timbers fought back with goals from rookie Andrew Jean-Baptiste, Kris Boyd & Kalif Alhassan.

April 21, 2012 vs. Sporting Kansas City
SKC came into JELD-WEN Field undefeated and left with their first loss of the season, the lone strike coming via a Kris Boyd cross that turned into an own goal. While it may not have been pretty, it was a gritty win and some say the miscommunication that led to the goal was due to the always loud Timbers Army.

June 24 vs. Seattle Sounders
This was the match that started the run to the Cascadia Cup. There was tifo, there was a textbook cornerkick goal from Horst, and a great goal from Boyd. A truly memorable afternoon that ended with a 2-1 victory for the good guys.

July 3 vs. San Jose Earthquakes
In a feisty match at home, Danny Mwanga made his first start at JELD-WEN Field scoring a memorable goal after some beautiful build-up play. Captain Jack Jewsbury added another and the defense stood tall in the 2-1 win.

October 21 at Vancouver Whitecaps
On the road in Canada, needing a win to secure the Cascadia Cup, captain Jack Jewsbury took action burying a beautiful golazo to deliver said Cup and a 1-0 win to Portland.
