The Timbers have entered into a strategic partnership with the Atlanta-based sports management company, Global Image Sports (GIS). The partnership will focus on player and coaching opportunities as well as enhancing the Timbers brand in both the United States and overseas.
GIS has existing partnerships with European professional clubs such as West Ham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers from England, FC Utrecht from Holland as well as Italy’s Sampdoria, Chievo Verona and the Italian Serie B league.
