The final regular-season home game for the Portland Timbers also means one last opportunity for Timbers fans to enjoy one of Portland’s finest food carts at JELD-WEN Field. Once again, the Timbers welcome back Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance member 808 Grinds.
Childhood friends Kevin Scofield and Jensen Kip started 808 Grinds in September 2010. The Maui-raised duo brought their Hawaiian lunch creations to SW 9th and Washington in downtown Portland, and it was so popular that they were among the first food carts voted in by Facebook fans to be part of the PTFCA.
808 Grinds will be serving their Hawaiian combo plates at the Soccer City Grill located above Section 93 when the Portland Timbers host Real Salt Lake on Saturday at 7:30 PM PT (ROOT SPORTS, 750 AM The Game).
