The FIFA Women’s World Cup will begin in 144 days and Thorns FC forward Christine Sinclair and Canada have made the long trip to China as preparations continue to compete in the BaoAn Cup (also known as the Four Nations Cup).

Sinclair, who enters the tournament just two goals shy of 150, captained the side in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Korea DPR. The Thorns FC captain played a key role in setting up the game-winning goal in the win, registering the assist as Kadeisha Buchanan scored in the 55th minute to put Canada in front. This goal came just four minutes after Canada scored the equalizer through Janine Beckie.
